New York Red Riders Mission in the Community:

The NY Red Riders have been, and will continue to be, making numerous public appearances in the community to support Chemung County and the surrounding area, along with other charitable organizations that assist youth and families in our community.   

Approximately, one-hundred and fifty tickets will be donated to local youth agencies and schools for every home game to invite kids, free of charge.  This will further our goal of having the youth in the area directly involved with positive role models, keeping them off the streets, and building a sense of community.

A Red Riders event is an action-packed night of family entertainment, at an affordable price.  The games will consist of half-time contests and performances by local music artists, game give-aways and feature a “local celebrity” on our bench at every game.  All of the action will take place at the YMCA at 425 Pennsylvania Avenue, in Elmira, New York.  Having our home court in the heart of Elmira, allows our youth and community members to be part of a healthy and inspirational professional basketball team that they can call their own.
